Foothill + De Anza Colleges are community colleges (2-year public institutions) located in Silicon Valley near San Francisco in California. We offer 2 year transfer programs with universities for a bachelor’s degree. Students complete first two years of bachelor’s degree program with us and transfer into the third year of any university to complete the last two years and to get the bachelor’s degree. This is an easier, supportive and affordable path to many universities.

With over 130 transfer agreements, guaranteed and preferred transfers, our students transfer to top universities like UCLA, UC Berkeley, NYU, Boston, Purdue and more.

Admission to De Anza College is open to anyone, subject to the residency requirements, who can show one of the following:

• High school diploma
• High school equivalency certificate (GED)
• Proficiency certificate
• Evidence of being at least 18 and able to benefit from instruction offered by De Anza

High school students may also enroll if they have a High School Permit to Enroll form signed by their high school principal or designee and by a parent or guardian.
