Our flagship (founded 1890) and largest campus (17,827 students, fall 2022), WSU Pullman features a beautiful, state-of-the-art campus, more than 200 undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs, Pac-12 sports, leading research and arts-based programs, and a student experience offering nearly unlimited opportunities.
The campus is located in the city of Pullman, about 75 miles south of Spokane and nestled in the rolling hills of southeastern Washington known as the Palouse. WSU Pullman combines a small-town community with all the benefits of a major research university.

The campus is a hub for most of the university’s student organizations, including its athletic teams, as well as galleries, performance venues, and museums dedicated to art, anthropology, zoology, and other topics.
Modern facilities, high-tech capabilities:
Major new facilities include a digital classroom building, multiple plant sciences facilities, a multicultural center, a veterinary and biomedical research building, the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art WSU, and the PACCAR Environmental Technology Building.
WSU Pullman is largely residential; 46 percent of students live in residence halls, university-owned apartments, or fraternity and sorority houses.
